Unlike US comics, which tend to focus on one character or team, British titles like ‘2000 AD’ feature a number of different stories, told episodically each week. I described that book as fun because it was, but this story is as depressing as that was a blast to read. I was so bummed when I figured out that Judge Joseph Dredd was a fascist. America is becomes an anti-government agitator while Benny becomes some sort of Weird Al-type person. America completely blew my mind and those initial reactions out the window. I'm not very familiar with Judge Dredd, as I've only read the Dark Judges storyline, but I thought this comic was just okay.

A must read for anyone who enjoys Judge Dredd, or simply wants to read one of the greatest comic books ever made. Still pretty good and recommended, worth every penny. I've always found it absurd how extreme the judges are (though like the Punisher, that's kind of the point,) so I liked the idea of a group that challenges the reign of the judges.
